Bio of Colin McClean- Communications Illustrator:

Founder of the marketing communications design firm LLS

(Life's Lighter Side.) Colin specializes in simplifying complex communications. through design. 

Ever since Colin can remember, a pencil and a pad of paper have been his best companions and his readily available retreat.  Drawing (what his parents once thought of as a nice distraction that would keep him out of their hair) became his passion.  Better still, it became a constant source of comic relief for his friends, family, and co-workers; it is now his livelihood.

Colin studied International business and Graphic design.

In 2004 Colin established LLS as a distribution arm for his comic strip of the same name. The Life's Lighter Side. cartoon strip has been published in a weekly community newspaper since 2000 and later in a monthly international magazine. LLS. has also appeared in a number of publications in the Greater Toronto Area. The LLScartoons.com web site and appearances in local newspaper and TV have increased Colin's and LLS' profile.  

In 2006, Colin expanded the scope of LLS to fill a void he saw in the business sector - the need to simplify communications to meet the needs of specific clients and consumers. The company's new tag line became " At LLS we provide more than just pretty pictures, we offer SOLUTIONS to your Communications needs ".  Without losing that comedic edge that propelled the LLS cartoon strip, Colin is now doing more than making people laugh, he's helping them to grow their businesses.
